Who does Elizabeth look like most?

Sometimes people say that Elizabeth is the spiiting image of me or looks exactly like Bryan. I think it's a pretty close race myself. Do you see her smile? It's just like his, or her eyes? They are definitely mine.

All I know is that no matter who she looks like, she is mine forever and that's all that really matters.

Elizabeth is going to be a big sister...

to a little brother.
Yep that's right, we are having a boy this time  around. I am pretty nervous but really excited.

Roxborough State Park Round 2

Before Elizabeth was born we went to Roxborough and a few weekends ago we headed back up there. We were actually planning on going to Waterton Canyon but it was closed so we went to the nearest alternative.

Right after this, Elizabeth dropped some bunnies on the ground and Bryan smashed them so she wouldn't eat them. The she cried and threw a tantrum and was so sad all the way down the mountain.

Flying Kites

Last Friday Bryan's office had to be closed for some electrical work so he was home for the day telecommuting. He only had to work 6 hours so that afternoon we went to one of the parks by our house and flew kites.
Elizabeth LOVED flying the kites. We did a big one for us and a little one for her and Cash.

This is Cash's attempt at flying. He did really great but I missed the video of it.

There was also one time when the kite was on the ground and Cash walked into the tail of the kite and it started flying behind him as he walked. It was reminded me a lot of our Bike Kite experience only with a toddler so the kite was a little more wobbly :)

We go to the zoo....a lot.

One of the best things I have purchase all year has been our zoo pass. It has been awesome to take Elizabeth to the zoo and watch her react to the animals and watch people, just like her mom loves to do, and to get out of the house a few hours. We have already been enough times to cover what the pass cost us and summer isn't even here yet! Here are a few pictures of one of our recent trips to the zoo.

Do you see the tiny parot in the background? I didn't until Elizabeth pointed him out to me. This was in bird world and I let her get down and walk and she was happy as a clam.

This trip, she LOVE LOVED the penguins, they were jumping in and out of the water and moving around a lot and she was just happy as can be to watch them.

There is a 'baby' giraffe at the zoo right now. The one standing up is the baby and the one on the ground is the mom. We spent a lot of time watching the giraffes this trip as well.
