Berry Smoothie...

E decided she wanted to share a smoothie with me the other day.  Luckily Breea was arount to snap some pictures.  Despite the mess she made on her shirt she got about half my smoothie in her stomach.

Some more playing in the dirt pictures.

A new found favorite

E added oatmeal to her breakfast menu.  This is nice because it can be combined with lots of different things to keep it interesting.  So far old fashioned oats with some frozen berries or dried cranberries are hits.

E Loves the dirt

E really loves to play in the raised bed gardens.  Saturday while we at the store we got her some toys so we could bring the measuring cups back inside.  She will spend hours out there just playing.  Its great because we can see her from the kitchen and sliding glass doors while we get other stuff done.

Hanging Out with Dad

Last week Breea was busy all day long so E and I decided to go for a hike.  The weather has been unusually warm for March (consistently in the 70's) so we headed out to a short trail in Castle Rock

Midway thru the hike she was loving every minute of it.

 stopping for a water break

 Say cheese!
Look at me dad! I can climb this big rock
Save me dad! I'm falling down the same rock
Dad I'm getting sleepy, can I sleep on the way down?
And that is what she did.  For about 2 of the 3 miles down the trail she took a little nap.

Wow, it's been forever

Since I last posted, Elizabeth and I have been to Dallas and back and have been hanging outside a bunch. We bought a pass to the Denver Zoo and have been twice. Bryan has been working out a bunch and just regular working too.
Here are a few pictures:
Me reading yet another book. I love some Amish fiction lately, it's clean and easy to read. And my brain can't handle too much depth lately

Doesn't she look great in glasses?

E pushing the stroller at the zoo.

She didn't want to be inside after she had so much fun playing in the mud

She layed on the couch like this, reading and chatting and just playing with her feet for almost an hour.

Abby's awesome friend LE also took pictures of E while we were in Dallas, and those will be coming soon. They are pretty awesome.
