Workin in the Yard and Happy Birthday Nicole and Tara

Bryan got the day off of work to spend time in the Temple for Stake Temple Day. Then because I whined about not getting to see him he came home and spent some time with me and Elizabeth in the yard. He had done lots of work this weekend (more pictures to come) but I didn't take pictures of that. Of course these are pictures of Elizabeth's contribution....being cute.

Yesterday was both of our sister's birthday. Bryan's sister Nicole and my sister Tara. Since we couldn't be with them to celebrate, and because we are junk food junkies, I made a cake in their honor. I don't know if either of them like lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and strawberries, but I sure do. YUM.

Cousins, Cousins, Cousins

Elizabeth got to meet all sorts of cousins when we went home for Easter. Here are a few pictures:

The three Heiner (Buhler and York) girls all born in the same year. Youngest to oldest, Jane, Elizabeth, Anna

Anna loved Elizabeth and kept trying to grab her face and ears.

All the Heiner cousins.....except Evan. He wouldn't get in the picture until promised a popsicle.

Left to Right: Gavin holding Jane, Remington, Chloe holding Elizabeth, Amber holding wrestling Anna, and Evan

My sweet niece Jess and her husband James

Jackson and E. You can tell they are cousins because they have the same hair......

Alexis and Elizabeth

Sydnee and Elizabeth. E actually looks a lot like Sydnee did as a baby, hopefully she turns out as cute as a teenager.

Tyler and Elizabeth. Tyler probably would have held E a lot more if he wasn't fight grandma's and aunts for her. Tyler and Braden and Blake were all so sweet with her eve if , as Blake said, "Her did cry alot".

Easter Trip

Elizabeth and I just spent 6 days in Utah and Idaho. It was great to see the family and to get to spend some time there. The only thing that isn't great is that Elizabeth was sleeping 12 hours a night before we left (7-7) and now she REFUSES to go to bed earlier than 9. Yes, I know I could have it worse, but she was putting herself to sleep and now she needs me to rock her 3 or 4 times before she finally settles down. I think she got creeped out by all the strange people ;).
Playing on the floor while waiting in the airport. We got to the airport at 11:30 and found out our flight was delayed until 3pm. I sure was happy to get that text AFTER my friend and ride had already driven off.

Elizabeth and me in the airport.

Uncle Kelby and E.

Uncle Andy and Remi

Great Grandma Taylor and E

Grandpa Heiner and E. She thought he was hilarious.

For Easter we went to my family and did the big Easter Egg hunt. I don't know how many eggs my grandpa and grandma hid but I only found 3....and three old ones from a few Easter's ago. I never have been a very good egg hunter.

E and her great uncle Rick

Grandma Kathee and E

Elizabeth and Uncle Caleb.

Grandma GG and E

Elizabeth in her Easter Dress

Uncle Brad and E. One night when I went to visit my sister Minon, Elizabeth woke up and so Brad got her and snuggled her. They were buds after that.

Poppy and E

I might get in trouble for this picture....but Aunt Minon, after a very ROUGH weekend, and E

Uncle Daren and E. Since I lived with my sister Mellonee and her husband Daren when I was in high school, his kids have been teasing him about how he is basically a grandpa. What do you think?

4 Months!

Our precious Elizabeth May is 4 months old! Bryan and I were just talking about how we know that we had 4 years together without her, but how in 4 months we have started to wonder what that was like.
 A Few things about her:
She is sleeping through the night. She goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 7
She almost always wakes up happy. She giggles when she sees me coming to get her.
She LOVES being outside. Whenever she's grouchy we can take her outside and she calms down right away.
She loves music of any kind. She is fine if it's just me singing or playing on the radio but she loves it.
She has started to grip things; her clothes, some toys, and yes, my hair.

Elizabeth weighs 13.38 lbs and is 23 3/4 inches long. That puts her in the 40th percentile for weight and the 25th for height.

She loves to be outside. She is grouchy around 5:30 every night but if Bryan takes her outside she is happy as a clam.
She is smiling more and more and is such a joy.

She has been sticking her tongue out a lot lately.....

I underestimated how tall she was and made this 'dress' a little too short so it is probably going to turn into a shirt.

This picture cracks me up.

Plotting to take over the world in her saucer bouncer.

She thinks her daddy is so funny.

Thanks Aunt Abby for the cute head band.
