St Patrick's Day

Green Lemon Meringue Pie (Yum, this didn't last long and I ate it for breakfast the next day)

Green Pizza (It tasted about as good as it looks)

Bryan saved the last piece for me, he's so sweet.

Elizabeth and Paige

When we moved in last year our next door neighbor's little girl Paige was the first of our good friends. The first time she saw us outside she came up and introduced herself and gave us both big hugs. She is funny and sweet and can't get enough of baby Elizabeth. Monday night Paige and Mark and Janelle came over and Paige just wanted to hold Elizabeth most of the night. She did such a good job and is going to be a GREAT big sister when her little brother comes in April.

3 Months

She has started to look at the camera/phone when I try to take pictures. She gets so enamored she barely smiles for the camera anymore.

Yes that is a clip in her hair, she has so much hair that I can put clips in now instead of just the headbands.

A typical smile these days. She really is such a happy baby.
Her new favorite activity. I tried to get a video but it didn't work. when she kicks the elephant dances and she thinks it is so funny. She is also starting to concentrate on moving her hands where she wants them to be.

More Blessing Pictures

Truthfully I had to take these a few days later because she puked on her blessing dress right after we blessed her and so I didn't get any pictures of just her. But here is the cutest baby in a pretty dress
It may look like she's smiling, but she was about to go into a rage
said rage

Yes, this is going to be a sappy post

Lately I have just been realizing how blessed we are. Our Heavenly Father truly takes care of us better than we ever could expect.

When we moved to Denver last year there was a lot of unknown and we really weren't sure why we thought this was the right place to be. We both had jobs in Logan, we had an offer on a house, we were close to family. Why Denver? Why then? What about all of our friends? our families? But the still small voice whispered and we came unsure of how everything would work out.

We found a house before we moved and began to make it a home. Bryan loved his job more than we ever could have expected and began to thrive. I was able to get a summer job and one for the fall as well. And of course we found out that I was pregnant with my precious Elizabeth. Everything seemed to fall into place as if it was meant to be.

Besides those things, Bryan and I have learned to depend on each other instead of our family. We have gained a trust for each other that I'm not sure we would have had if we stayed in Logan.

We got a phone call last night from a friend and because of hindsight and insight from him, both of us realized just how blessed we have been. I think it is easy to forget that the Lord has a hand in everything. But when we try our best to follow His counsel and that of his prophets, He will bless us, even if it isn't always how we expect.

I am so grateful to all of those people here who have chosen to be instuments in God's hands. When we moved here I was terrified that I wouldn't have any friends and worried that I was going to be lonely. Thank you to all of you who have given us your friendship, a listening ear and your love. We have found so many great examples here and I just can't thank you enough, I think if i sent you a thank you card every time I was grateful for you I would start to sound insincere. So hopefully I can give you what you need and be there for you in return.

I guess all I really needed to say was Thank you. To my family, friends, husband and my Heavenly Father.

Thank you
