Garden products

So we have a garden this year and once again we have forgotten to take care of it, but luckily this time we have an automatic sprinkler system that does the watering for us. We still have had only a little luck with most of our plants.
This is a picture of the first bed. Those are tomatoes and one measely pepper plant

The is the second bed. There are bean plants, and then a tomato plant that is being eating by the squash/pumpkin plant.

These are the radishes that we just harvested. We forgot to pull them and when on vacation and the became gargantuan radishes.

As my mom said, "FINALLY!!!!"

From that title, you probably guessed it....we are having a baby! On or around December 29, 2010.
We decided to wait to announce until we told our families in person and we couldn't do that until this last week. We went on a trip to Idaho and Utah and got to tell both of our families. I wish I had some cool pictures but we mostly forgot we had our camera with us.
To announce to our families my cool friend Loni designed a shirt for me. I ironed on the design and then we waited to see when our families would notice. This is the shirt:Bryan's little sister was the first to notice and his mom had a great reaction and got so excited. Then we went to pick up my sister for the drive up to Idaho and she noticed right away and jumped up and down and got really excited. Then we had a 6 hour drive before we got to the rest of my family. When we got there, they were excited, but most of them were expecting an announcement so they didn't get as excited as the otherwise might have.
We find out whether it is a boy or a girl this Tuesday, so I will keep you posted.

Sorry Thumper

(Hopefully the thumper from this morning is this happy now)
I was on my way to the gym this morning and a bunny ran out of the tall grass next to the road. I swerved to miss it, but didn't swerve fast enough....you get the picture.
I just wanted to say sorry to the bunny, and let you know that I cried for you before I went into the gym. I would have given you a funeral, but there isn't anywhere to bury you and I figure you are probably in bunny heaven now so you don't really care.
RIP little thumper

Golden Gate Canyon State Park

Last weekend we decided we wanted to go camping. Bryan picked a spot and we loaded up the car. We got away a little later than we wanted, then we had to stop for something to eat, and stop at Wal-mart so it was pretty late by the time we actually started driving up the canyon to Golden Gate Canyon State Park.

We took a wrong turn and ended up on this dirt road with a 30% grade, and yes we were in the Neon. We had to turn around and ended up getting there a much easier way. When we finally got to the campground in the park at 10pm we found out all the campsites were full in the whole park. So we had to drive to another campground and find a spot.
We found a spot and set up our tent and then went to pay.......until we saw that someone else had already paid for that spot. We didn't want to take the tent down and set it up again and blow up the mattresses, so we just put the tent on the top of the car and found another spot.

Yes that is the tent on the top of the Neon in our final camping spot.

This is me beneath the tent, stuck in the car. And yes, that is rain.
This is the fish Bryan caught the next day in Golden Gate State Park.
This is Bryan fishing, he did this for a few hours .
And like a good wife, I cheered him on, and assisted in putting bait on his hook and taking pictures of his catches.
